Weekend Wellness Yoga Retreat

Join us for a Yoga Wellness Weekend Retreat.  Immerse yourself into time out in nature and the divine surrounds of Hepburn Springs, Australia's largest natural mineral springs area and its charmingly quaint township.  

Leave life's stress outside the hedge and delve deep into Self care where you will be guided through Yoga practises that are certain to strenthen your body, release tension, and calm and clear your mind.

Inclusions

2 Nights accommodation at the lovingly restored, charming Circa 1920s (Conti) Continental House. Enjoy comfortable bedrooms with ensuite and locally made bathroom products, sumptuous lounge room with open fire place, closed in veranda, elegant dining room and beautiful garden areas to spend your free time in.

2 Breakfasts - Saturday and Sunday provided by the gracious hosts at Continental House

2 Dinners -  A light dinner on Friday night from 7pm and Saturday night banquet prepared by our favourite and renowned vegan chef Alexis

Lunch - Saturday banquet by Alexis 

Yoga sessions including:-

• gentle morning mobilisation
• slow flowing yoga and alignment focused postures
• restorative and energetic release for your body mind and spirit
• deep relaxation
• meditation
• pranayama (breathing techniques)
• mantra and chanting

2 Teachers - Julia Jones and Sandra Groves will safely guide you with variety and diversity in your practices, and assist you with variations and adjustments when required.

$540 per person (twin/double share) 

$670 per person (single room)

Please Note: If you are travelling on your own and like to share a room, depending on availability, we will endeavor to match you with a (same sex) room buddy but can't be guaranteed.

REGISTRATION FORM To reserve your space please download, complete and return the registration form to julia@affinityyoga.com.au

A deposit of $100 (non-refundable) will secure your space and the balance will be payable two weeks prior to the retreat.  Payment options are on the registration form.

Location

Continental House, 9 Lone Pine Avenue, Hepburn Springs, Victoria 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne CBD.

Optional Extras

Conti has a beautiful on-site Wellbeing Centre offering massage, steam room and traditional Turkish Hamamm treatments.

Commencement and Departure

Check in from 5pm Friday.  The retreat begins at 7pm with light dinner followed by welcome circle.   Departure is on Sunday 1pm following mid morning session and closing circle.

Car Pooling

If you don't have a car or driving solo, like the company, and want to share petrol costs please let us know and we will endeavour to put you in touch with another retreater.

Things to do in your Free Time

Hepburn Springs is a resort town in the middle of the largest concentration of mineral springs in Australia. Following Saturday morning practice and breakfast feel free to join the group for a short walk to the natural springs, sample the mineral water and orientate yourself to the Bathhouse if you'd like a treatment there during your stay.   Conti also has excellent therapists in-house so you can relax in the beautiful surrounds directly after your treatment.

Hepburn Springs is also located in the Wombat State Forest with many marked walks. A short 3km drive or 40 minute walk takes you to Daylesford town where there is an array of stores and cafes to explore. The Daylesford Lake is beautiful to walk around, as is the Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens.

Close to Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens is the Convent Gallery with three floors of artworks housed in a 19^th century mansion.  

Lavendula is also a beautiful spot to explore with an historical miners house, lavendar farm, vast space to wander and gift shop.
